Meet the Team

Dwight Dunton is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bonaventure, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily assets. He established the company in 1999, acquiring his first multifamily property at age 25 and launching a management platform that laid the foundation for Bonaventure’s long-term growth. 

With more than 26 years of experience in real estate investment and operations, Dwight has led Bonaventure through multiple market cycles, consistently delivering strong performance across varying economic conditions. Under his leadership, the firm has grown to manage $2.9 billion in assets and 9,209 units nationwide. 

Dwight’s expertise spans capital formation, joint ventures, and strategic structuring, with a focus on tax-efficient investment solutions and long-term value creation. He is deeply committed to building institutional-grade capabilities that connect capital to high-quality real estate opportunities. His leadership is defined by a disciplined investment approach, entrepreneurial vision, and a focus on driving value at every stage of the investment lifecycle. 

Dwight has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He calls Alexandria, VA, home, where he was born and raised. He currently lives with his wife Camille, his four daughters, and his dog Lando.

Chris Cobb is President of Bonaventure Development. He joined Bonaventure in 2006 and has held numerous leadership roles across the platform over his 20 years with the firm, most recently leading the company’s ground-up multifamily development business. 

Chris leads the development team across the full lifecycle, from sourcing new opportunities and securing entitlements through predevelopment, capitalization, construction, and lease-up. He also sits on Bonaventure’s investment committee, drives capital raising and investor relations for the platform, and holds board-level responsibilities with Bonaventure Multifamily Income Trust (BMIT). 

Before joining Bonaventure, Chris worked at KPMG in Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a licensed salesperson in Virginia. 

Stephen Burch is a seasoned financial executive with over 15 years of experience driving strategic growth and operational excellence in the real estate industry. As Bonaventure’s Chief Financial Officer, he leads the firm’s financial strategy, treasury management, capital allocation, FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Before Bonaventure, he served as Chief Accounting Officer at Middleburg Communities, where he played a pivotal role in financial transformation and operational scaling. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Washington REIT, where he served as Controller, and at PwC, where he was a Manager in the Financial Services Assurance practice.

Stephen holds a Master of Accounting from the College of Charleston and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management with a Minor in Accounting from Clemson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) recognized for his financial strategy, compliance, and real estate investment management expertise.

Outside of the office, Stephen lives in Arlington, VA, and is married with four children. He enjoys spending time with his family on the golf course (yes, the kids all love to golf), watching their various sporting events, or traveling as much as they can.

JP joined Bonaventure in 2003, initially working on the acquisition of new properties. Eventually transitioning to a ground up development role, JP is now VP of Development. In this capacity, he and his team focus on site selection, entitlement, underwriting, and all development and construction phases for Bonaventure’s newest ventures. JP became a Partner in 2010. He has been directly involved with the acquisition and construction of over 5,000 apartments.

Jeff joined Bonaventure in 2007. As principal architect and partner, Jeff is responsible for visioning potential development sites for Bonaventure and Bonaventure’s partners in success. Jeff is also responsible for design management of Bonaventure’s portfolio of projects and investment opportunities. Jeff has over 30 years’ experience in the architectural and construction field and provides vision and guidance throughout the organization. Jeff has a professional degree in Architecture from Drury University and is a licensed and NCARB certified architect and licensed contractor. Jeff is based out of Liberty, Missouri.

Ben serves as Bonaventure’s Development Manager. He is responsible for building relationships, sourcing new opportunities, securing debt and equity financing, mitigating risk throughout the development process, ensuring execution during the design and construction phase, and optimizing the lease-up to maximize equity value for Bonaventure and our investors. He joined Bonaventure in 2021 and has over 18 years of experience within the development industry.

Before joining Bonaventure, Ben worked at Stonebridge in Bethesda, MD, where he oversaw the entitlement, design, and construction of transit-oriented, mixed-use infill developments. Prior to that, Ben was a Civil Engineer at a land development firm in Falls Church, VA. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Business from the University of Virginia and is a licensed Professional Engineer.​

Outside work, he enjoys relaxing at the beach, snowboarding in the winter, and coaching his two sons in as many sports as possible.

Nashwa Hassanaly serves as Development Manager at Bonaventure, where she leads cross-functional efforts to identify opportunities, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive long-term value for the company. In her role, she coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.

With a background spanning international development and construction, Nashwa brings a results-driven approach to her work. Before joining Bonaventure, she worked as an Associate at Gilbane Development after graduating from NYU with a Master’s in Real Estate Development. She also holds a Master’s in Civil Engineering from City University, London, UK.

Outside of work, she enjoys spinning classes, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with her family.

Andrew Bolton serves as a Development Manager for Bonaventure, where he is responsible for the sourcing, planning, and execution of ground-up development projects throughout the state of Virginia.  He joined Bonaventure in 2026 and brings with him over 15 years of residential development and construction experience throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Casey joined Bonaventure in 2023 as the Portfolio Manager for the company’s perpetual life multifamily fund and its parent holding company. Prior to Bonaventure, Casey sourced and acquired Class B/B+ multifamily communities through a single-member LLC called Pinpoint. Casey acquired 884 units throughout Virginia and North Carolina markets, with dispositions realizing net-to-investor returns of a 56.2% IRR and 2.5x equity multiple. Before founding Pinpoint, he was a member of Starwood Capital Group’s acquisitions team, where he completed $1.2B of transactions across multifamily, office, retail, and industrial assets. Casey received a B.A. in Government from Harvard in 2014.

Barrett Lowell joined Bonaventure in 2025 as Head of Asset Management, bringing more than 20 years of real estate investment and management experience. He leads the strategic oversight and growth of Bonaventure’s portfolio, with expertise in asset performance optimization, large-scale transactions, recapitalizations, and platform initiatives.

Before joining Bonaventure, Barrett served as Managing Director and Head of Student Housing Asset Management at Harrison Street, where he directed portfolio strategy, development, and dispositions while managing key operating partner relationships. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President at Greenfield Partners, overseeing asset management, acquisitions, development, and dispositions. He began his career as an Analyst in Credit Suisse’s Leveraged Finance Investment Banking Group in New York, focusing on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Barrett holds a Bachelor of Science with High Honors from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Jimmy Parker joined Bonaventure in 2018 and currently serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Investments. He manages a team working on the execution and implementation of Bonaventure’s investment strategy, including core, core-plus, and value-add acquisitions, structured credit investments, 1031/721 exchanges, DSTs, tax-deferred recapitalizations, and more. Jimmy is responsible for executing all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, financial evaluation, negotiations, due diligence, and closing. Jimmy has been directly involved in developing and acquiring more than 7,000 multifamily units across 40+ transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $2B.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Sewanee University. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife, Grace, and enjoys playing sports, golf, fitness, and traveling.

Austin Laws joined Bonaventure in 2020 and is an Associate on the Investments Team. He focuses on executing the firm’s investment strategies across core, core-plus, and value-add acquisitions, 1031 and 721 exchanges, and DSTs.

His responsibilities include deal sourcing, underwriting, contract negotiations, debt structuring, physical and financial due diligence, business plan development, closings, and monitoring business plan execution. Austin also supports Bonaventure’s tax-deferred exchange platform by structuring tax-efficient transactions for investors seeking to optimize their real estate holdings. With experience across acquisitions and development, he has been involved in over 30 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $1.5 billion.

Austin graduated from the University of South Carolina with degrees in Finance and Real Estate. He lives in Washington, D.C., and in his free time, enjoys snowboarding, surfing, cycling, and traveling with friends and family.

Joe Hoskins joined Bonaventure in January 2022 and is currently an Associate on the Investments Team. He is responsible for sourcing, financial evaluation, due diligence, and execution of Investment opportunities that fit the firm’s investment strategy. With experience in both Bonaventure’s Development and Investment teams, Joe has developed or acquired 3,000+ units with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $825M+.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University. Before Bonaventure, Joe worked with CoStar in their Richmond, VA office.

Outside work, you can find Joe fishing, golfing, exploring a D.C. restaurant, or talking about the Denver Broncos to anyone who will listen.

Rowan Bartell joined Bonaventure in October 2024. He is a Senior Investment Analyst who focuses on underwriting multifamily acquisitions, performing financial modeling and market research, and supporting capital deployment through the firm’s investment strategy. He brings a foundation of transaction-oriented expertise, having held prior roles in investment sales and underwriting that sharpened his analytical rigor and deal execution skills.

Rowan earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Before Bonaventure, Rowan worked with Berkadia in their Washington, D.C. Office. Outside work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, and watching his favorite sports teams.

Jules Chenette is an accomplished professional with a proven track record across multifamily and commercial real estate portfolios. As Director of Asset Management at Bonaventure, she leads strategic initiatives to optimize property performance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive long-term value creation. Before joining Bonaventure, Jules worked at Armada Hoffler, contributing to portfolio oversight and operational strategy.

Jules earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and holds dual credentials from the National Apartment Association Education Institute, the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation, and the 2023 Leadership Lyceum recognition. Outside of work, Jules can often attend music concerts and festivals or spend quality time with her two dogs, Cash and Cooper. Her love for live music and the outdoors mirrors the same energy and balance she brings to her professional life, passionate, grounded, and deeply engaged in everything she does.

Jake Sickels serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Asset Management, overseeing the performance and strategic direction of the firm’s multifamily assets. With a strong development and property management background, Jake leads initiatives that enhance asset value, optimize operations, and ensure consistent investor returns. His integrated approach bridges financial analysis, operational execution, and long-term strategic planning to drive sustained asset growth.

Jake holds a business degree from Susquehanna University’s Sigmund Weis School of Business. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and hiking with his Bernese Mountain Dog.

Tanner Ziebarth serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Asset Management, primarily overseeing the performance and strategic direction of the firm’s senior living portfolio. With a strong asset management background in the senior living industry, Tanner leads strategic initiatives to optimize community performance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive long-term value creation.

Before joining Bonaventure, Tanner served as Vice President of Asset Management at Longview Senior Housing, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he oversaw community strategy for a national senior living portfolio including financial planning, management company oversight, re-positionings, and renovations. As one of the first employees at Longview, he helped build the company’s asset management platform from the ground up and held various roles spanning FP&A, transactions, and asset management.  Tanner started his career at PwC in their Financial Markets group focused on commercial real estate valuations and advisory. He graduated from the University of Florida with a M.S. in Real Estate and a B.S. in Finance.

Santiago joined Bonaventure in 2024 and is a Senior Associate on the Asset Management team. In his role, he oversees the performance and strategic direction of the firm’s multifamily portfolio, leading initiatives that maximize asset value, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent investor returns.

Santiago brings an integrated approach that combines financial analysis, operational execution, and strategic planning to drive sustainable asset growth. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New York University. Before joining Bonaventure, Santiago worked with RLJ Lodging Trust in Bethesda, Maryland. Outside work, he enjoys playing basketball, horse polo, and riding motorcycles.

Gabe Fehringer joined Bonaventure in February 2026. He is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s multifamily and senior living assets. In his role, he utilizes a background in asset management and investment sales to maximize portfolio performance and investor returns.

Gabe studied Economics at the University of Utah and brings over 5 years of experience to the team. Prior to Bonaventure, he worked with Reef Capital Partners in their Lehi, UT office.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, staying active in the outdoors, and discovering new restaurants.

Matt Cunningham serves as an Asset Management Analyst at Bonaventure, supporting the performance and strategic oversight of the firm’s multifamily portfolio. He works closely with the Asset Management team to conduct financial analysis, prepare budgets and forecasts, and execute asset strategies that optimize efficiency and maximize value across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Bonaventure, Matt worked as an analyst at Pennsylvania Multifamily Asset Managers, gaining experience in property-level financial analysis and contract administration for HUD-regulated properties. He graduated from Virginia Tech’s Blackwood Department of Real Estate with a focus on real estate finance and property management.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys golfing, spending time on the water, and is an avid sports fan.

Tori Hawes serves as Director of Investor Services at Bonaventure, where she oversees investor reporting, subscriptions, capital activity, and tax document delivery across the firm’s funds. She also leads the effort to align Bonaventure’s Juniper Square platform with its fund administration processes, ensuring investors receive accurate, timely information at every stage of their investment.

Christopher Stedt serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Capital Projects. He is responsible for managing all construction phases and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. With extensive experience optimizing processes and a deep understanding of construction management, Chris collaborates with architects and engineers and maintains strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee high-quality results.

Chris comes to Bonaventure with almost 18 years of multifamily construction experience. He has worked as a superintendent and project manager on large-scale renovation projects. Chris has also managed capital improvements and renovations for private and publicly traded ownership groups throughout the East Coast. Chris graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with his family, coaching youth soccer, and going fishing.

Frank Pingatore joined Bonaventure in 2026 as a Senior Associate in Portfolio Management, where he is building a comprehensive, deal-level portfolio model spanning BMIT and Bonaventure Holdings.

Prior to Bonaventure, Frank spent over five years at The Carlyle Group’s U.S. Real Estate Group, most recently as Senior Associate, managing a 40+ asset portfolio across Active Adult, Multifamily, and Single-Family Rental. He executed 10 dispositions totaling over $700M in sale price at an average IRR above 40%, and structured over $700M in refinancing transactions.

Before Carlyle, Frank was on JBG SMITH’s Residential Asset Management team, where he contributed to the firm’s winning Amazon HQ2 bid and led disposition, renovation, and leasing initiatives across its multifamily portfolio.

Frank received a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management in 2016. Outside of work, he can be found on the golf course or cheering on Philadelphia’s sports teams.

Ahmed joined Bonaventure in 2026 and serves as Analyst to the CEO, working across the firm’s multiple business lines spanning Investments, Asset Management, Insurance, and other divisions of the holding company. His role encompasses financial analysis, project management, research, and execution of strategic initiatives in direct partnership with the CEO & executive team.

Before Bonaventure, Ahmed served as an Investment Analyst at a family office in Virginia, where he supported the scaling of a $300M+ multi-asset portfolio across Mid-Atlantic real estate and private investments. He began his career at Charles River Associates in its Financial Markets Practice, advising on complex M&A transactions, corporate litigation, and restructuring matters for Fortune 500 companies. Outside of work, he can be found golfing, horse riding, or travelling with his family to exotic places.

Clark Spencer is Bonaventure’s Head of Opportunity Zone and Tax Equity Investments, sourcing, structuring, and managing Qualified Opportunity Zone investments while leading the firm’s 1031 exchange and DST platform.

James Holleman serves as Bonaventure’s Head of Capital Formation, where he leads Investment Product Distribution, Marketing, and Investor Relations. He is focused on expanding Bonaventure’s relationships with broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, family offices, high-net-worth investors, and institutional partners, while supporting the firm’s Delaware Statutory Trust, Opportunity Zone, and broader private real estate strategies.

Before joining Bonaventure, James served as Managing Director of Capital Markets at GTIS Partners, where he focused on private wealth capital formation, investor relations, product development, and distribution strategy. He previously held roles with Grubb Properties as Managing Director of Investments and Wells Fargo as a Financial Advisor and Alternative Investment Specialist.  Prior to entering financial services, James served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and is a combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Gardner-Webb University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing golf, and ripping packs of sports memorabilia cards.

Michelle Moore serves as Head of National Accounts at Bonaventure Capital, where she leads relationship management across the firm’s broker-dealer and RIA distribution channels. In this role, she oversees strategic partnerships and coordinates all due diligence efforts for the firm’s real estate investment offerings.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ms. Moore has built deep, long-standing relationships within the Independent Broker-Dealer and RIA communities. She brings extensive expertise across due diligence, sales, marketing, and business development, and has played a key role in driving capital formation initiatives. Throughout her career, she has cultivated partnerships that have contributed to over $4 billion in sales and has been instrumental in building and scaling distribution platforms for firms including SmartStop Asset Management, SC Distributors, and Steadfast Companies.

Ms. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Business Administration from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. She is an active member of ADISA and serves as Co-Chair of the National Accounts Committee for the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA). She also contributes to the IPA’s Due Diligence Committee and is an alumna of the Rising Leaders Council. She maintains her Series 24, 7, and 66 securities licenses.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. Moore enjoys traveling, gardening, and attending live music events.

Kerry Peoples is Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Bonaventure, leading the firm’s capital formation strategy and key investor and advisor relationships. With more than 25 years of experience across capital markets and alternative investments, he brings deep expertise in the RIA and national account channels. Kerry spent the majority of his career at Sealy & Company in senior capital markets roles, where he focused on investor engagement and real estate investment strategy. He is known for his relationship-driven approach and ability to connect advisors and investors with differentiated real estate opportunities. Kerry graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of San Diego in 1999. 

Ian McElreath serves as Senior VP of Capital Markets, Eastern Division.  He will focus on raising capital in the private wealth channel across the firm’s range of real estate investment products.  With nearly two decades in financial services, and over $900 million raised across alternative investment platforms, Ian has spent the last 18 years working directly with RIAs, independent broker-dealers, and wirehouse advisors, educating them on the value of alternatives such as REITs, BDCs, DSTs, 1031 exchanges, and Opportunity Zone Funds.

Before joining Bonaventure, Ian served as a Senior Vice President on Griffin Capital’s Wealth Solutions Team, working in the Private Wealth channel in the Southeastern United States.  His success is built on a strategic, consultative approach and the ability to convert complex offerings into actionable investment decisions for high-net-worth investors. I’ve helped launch three distribution platforms from inception and led multiple territories to record-breaking years.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 5-year-old twins, golfing, working out, and traveling.

Ryan Conoboy is a seasoned financial professional who currently serves as the Vice President of Capital Markets at Bonaventure. There, he drives strategic initiatives and capital formation across diverse real estate investment platforms. With over a decade of expertise in financial services, Ryan has built a strong reputation for developing partnerships, structuring complex transactions, and delivering client-centered solutions.

Before Bonaventure, he served as Exchange Director at Legal 1031 Exchange Services, guiding clients through intricate 1031 and 721 exchanges, collaborating with top advisors, attorneys, and brokers nationwide. Earlier, Ryan spent nearly six years at Inland Securities Corporation, rising from Regional Associate to Senior Vice President. He led multi-territory sales efforts for alternative investments, including DSTs, private real estate, and opportunity zone funds.

Ryan graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and is currently working on completing his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Phil Joyce serves as Vice President of Capital Markets, covering all business channels throughout the Northeast United States. His daily focus is on presenting Bonaventure’s value proposition to both new and existing clients through a proactive, relationship-focused sales approach. Phil works closely across multiple channels to promote Bonaventure’s diverse product offerings and secure long-term partnerships.

A 20-year financial services veteran, Phil brings comprehensive Northeast coverage and deep experience across both public and private investment solutions. Over the course of his career, he has represented leading asset managers including American Century Investments, Sun Life Financial, and Gabelli. Phil holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Outside of work, Phil lives with his wife and three children. His activities include traveling to kids’ hockey, softball, and lacrosse games. They also travel to Ireland whenever possible to spend time with family.

Ryan Neal serves as Associate Vice President on Bonaventure’s Capital Markets team, bringing a diverse background spanning alternative investments, financial advisory services, and capital raising. He began his career on the advisor side as a financial analyst before spending several years at Megatel Capital Investment, where he built deep experience in capital markets and investment distribution focused on residential real estate. Most recently, prior to Bonaventure, he spent time in private equity raising capital for high-profile aerospace and technology companies, including SpaceX, Stoke Space, Anthropic, xAI, OpenAI, and Anduril. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. Outside of work, Ryan can be found on the golf course with friends, enduring the emotional rollercoaster of Texas Tech sports, or at home enjoying movie nights with his better half, Marla, and their two dogs, Gracie and Millie.

Jonathan Starzyk serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Marketing. He manages brand strategy, communication efforts, and demand generation across the firm’s real estate investment offerings. He spearheads initiatives to boost Bonaventure’s visibility among investors, advisors, and partners while ensuring the firm’s messaging highlights its proven track record and future-focused vision. 

Before joining Bonaventure, Jonathan worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Origin Investments, where he created and implemented multi-channel lead generation strategies across paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and connected TV. He worked closely with investor relations and analytics teams to improve conversion rates and expand campaigns targeting high-net-worth investors and financial professionals. Jonathan graduated from Pomona College. 

Outside of work, he enjoys running, practicing yoga, and traveling the world, often exploring new places and cultures.

Victor Pazmino serves as Bonaventure’s Marketing Manager, leading paid media, digital strategy, and marketing automation to support the firm’s capital-raising and brand-building efforts across its multifamily investment platform. He develops and optimizes demand-generation programs across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Bing, partnering closely with investor relations to improve lead quality, accelerate conversions, and strengthen Bonaventure’s presence among high-net-worth investors and advisors.

Before joining Bonaventure, Victor worked as a Growth Manager and Paid Strategist at KlientBoost, where he managed acquisition programs across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Bing for real estate, technology, and professional services clients and built full-funnel systems to improve lead quality and conversion rates. He brings a strong background in performance-driven strategy and marketing analytics.

Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, building digital products, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Juan Rafael Bolívar serves as HubSpot Developer and Revenue Architect at Bonaventure, where he leads the design and implementation of the firm’s CRM and revenue infrastructure across its investment verticals. He architects scalable lifecycle frameworks, capital qualification systems, and automation models that support investor acquisition, advisor engagement, and structured capital deployment.

Juan specializes in Revenue Operations and enterprise CRM architecture, translating complex business strategy, investor journeys, and capital markets logic into clean, scalable systems. His work ensures marketing, sales, and capital teams operate within a unified revenue framework rather than disconnected tools.

Before joining Bonaventure, Juan designed and optimized advanced HubSpot and GoHighLevel ecosystems for U.S.-based B2B and service companies, helping them move from reactive operations to predictable revenue systems.

Outside of work, he enjoys strength training, long walks with his husky, and creating educational content about remote work and revenue architecture.

Carlos Montoya serves as Bonaventure’s Senior Graphic Designer, partnering with the Marketing team to shape the firm’s visual identity across brand, communications, and investor-facing materials. Before joining Bonaventure, Carlos worked at Publicis Sapient, collaborating on U.S.-based projects across telecommunications, fashion, construction, logistics, and insurance. Prior to that, he worked with Tyba por Credicorp Capital, McKinsey & Company, and Huge, delivering design work across financial services and technology in Latin America. He brings a sharp eye for detail and a strong foundation in scalable visual systems that keep brand execution tight across every channel and format.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, training, and spending time on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

Ashley Smith serves as Bonaventure’s Assistant Controller of Accounting. She oversees the firm’s financial reporting, corporate accounting, and compliance functions, ensuring accuracy and transparency across Bonaventure’s real estate investment operations. Ashley is key in streamlining accounting processes and supporting strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and efficiency.

Before joining Bonaventure, Ashley held senior accounting and controller roles at Hines and JBG Smith Properties, where she specialized in Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) financial reporting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University. Ashley enjoys entertaining, traveling, and spending time with friends outside of work.

Becky Stoyer serves as Bonaventure’s Director of Debt and Dispositions. She has been with the company for ten years and manages all financing aspects for the firm’s multifamily portfolio, overseeing existing assets and new development projects.  Becky works closely with lenders to structure and manage FHA, agency, bank, and other debt products that support Bonaventure’s growth and long-term investment strategies.

Before joining Bonaventure, Becky worked in multifamily asset management for a private, non-traded REIT. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Outside work, Becky enjoys watching her children compete on the soccer field, walking her dog, and staying active.

Trudy is a Senior Analyst on Bonaventure’s Debt & Dispositions team, bringing a strong residential and commercial real estate development background. She is skilled in sales, marketing, and real estate finance, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Friends University.

Before joining Bonaventure, Trudy spent several years in residential real estate, helping clients achieve the dream of homeownership.

Outside work, she enjoys working out, running, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Griffey.

Ayla Staley, CPA, serves as one of Bonaventure’s Accounting Managers. She oversees part of the Alexandria-based accounting team to ensure proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP. Her responsibilities include reviewing full-cycle accounting functions for the real estate and corporate portfolios, preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements for BMIT and Bonaventure Holdings, and supporting the audits to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.

Before joining Bonaventure, Ayla was a consultant at the Siegfried Group, providing accounting and finance support to Fortune 500 clients. Through that strategic role, she gained insight into many industries and best practices. Before that role, she worked in public accounting as an auditor for PwC, specializing in the real estate industry. Ayla graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master of Accounting Science in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2018.

Outside of work, she enjoys competitive horseback riding, running marathons, and traveling with her husband.

Rebecca Busbin is an experienced Accounting Manager skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, and team leadership. She oversees accounting operations precisely, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all economic processes. Known for her analytical mindset and attention to detail, Rebecca drives efficiency and supports informed decision-making.

Before Bonaventure, Rebecca was a Controller with Site & Utility, a real estate development company based in Pensacola, Florida. She managed financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for complex projects. Known for her strategic insight and attention to detail, Rebecca ensured compliance and streamlined accounting processes. She delivered accurate financial data that supported growth and executive decision-making.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and being a mother to her three beautiful girls. You can usually find her outside on the boat, at the beach, or at the softball field watching her girls play.

Kyli Gotham is the FP&A Manager at Bonaventure, where she leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the company’s portfolio, funds, and deals. Reporting directly to the CFO, she is redesigning how the finance team works with AI, designing and building the tools from the ground up.

Kyli joined Bonaventure as a Senior Accountant, overseeing accounting for a portfolio of assets and supporting the financial operations of the firm’s corporate entities. Before that, she worked in public accounting at CohnReznick LLP. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.

When not at work, she plays volleyball, attends concerts and festivals, and travels.

Alex Bazzoli is a Senior Corporate Accountant at Bonaventure, where he oversees accounting for a portfolio of assets and supports full-cycle financial operations across the firm’s corporate entities. He plays a key role in tax planning and communications, in addition to preparing corporate and real estate reporting for Bonaventure.

Before joining Bonaventure, Alex worked in public accounting as a Senior Tax Associate at 415 Group in Canton, Ohio. During his time at 415 Group, he was in charge of preparing corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns, as well as assisting with tax planning. Alex graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kent State University in 2021.

In his personal time, Alex enjoys watching sporting events, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling.

Dylan Wolfson is a Senior Project Accountant at Bonaventure, where he oversees accounting for a portfolio of assets and supports full-cycle financial operations across the firm’s corporate entities. He plays a key role in cash management and consolidated reporting.

Prior to joining Bonaventure, Dylan worked in public accounting as an audit senior for Deloitte, where he performed financial statement audits and evaluated internal controls. Dylan graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Master of Accounting in 2023 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2022.

In his personal time, Dylan enjoys ultimate frisbee, playing the guitar, and trivia nights with friends.

Josie Palisin is a Corporate and Real Estate Accountant with Bonaventure. Her role includes various record-keeping duties, including budget variance analysis for corporate entities, preparing financial statements and reconciliations for internal and external reporting, and collaborating with our third-party property managers to ensure timely and accurate property financial reporting. Additionally, Josie is responsible for the accounting and report preparation for Bonaventure’s Real Estate Investment Trust and Operating Partnership.

Before joining Bonaventure, Josie worked as an Assurance Associate at Forvis Mazars (formerly Forvis), where she worked on non-public audits for real estate and private equity clients and performed Employee Benefit Plan audits. Josie graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 and received her CPA license for Virginia in 2022.

In her personal time, Josie enjoys arts and crafts, cooking, and weekend road-trips.

Alec serves as a development project accountant. He works closely with the development team on monthly financial reporting and tracking complex processes to support and maintain large-scale development initiatives.

Before his role at Bonaventure, Alec worked as an audit senior at CohnReznick LLP, where he developed a strong understanding of the residential real estate industry and GAAP compliance. Alec holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Salisbury University.

Outside work, he enjoys working out, watching sports, and spending time with family.

Brenna Berry serves as Bonaventure’s Treasury Analyst. She manages daily cash operations and ensures financial accuracy across the organization. Her role includes performing bank reconciliations, processing domestic and international wire transfers, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions. With a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, Brenna ensures timely and accurate financial transactions while identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency. Her work supports the company’s financial health and strategic goals through diligent treasury operations and reliable cash reporting. Brenna holds a Certified Treasury Professional certification.

Prior to joining Bonaventure, Brenna was the National Cash Manager for Lincoln Property Company (now Willow Bridge). She has also served in various accounting roles in construction accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, attaining well-rounded experience and knowledge that make her a valued member of the organization.

Brenna’s interests outside of work include spending time with family and her two dogs, and going on annual cruises.

Alicia Guidotti serves as Chief of Staff at Bonaventure, where she plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cultural transformation across the organization. She began her journey with Bonaventure nearly a decade ago as a property manager, quickly distinguishing herself through her leadership, tenacity, and deep understanding of operations. During COVID, Alicia helped build out Bonaventure’s business development department. She established herself as the go-to person for getting things done, an approach that ultimately led to her current role.

In her position today, Alicia works closely with CEO Dwight Dunton to align cross-functional teams and ensure the firm’s long-term vision is translated into actionable results. She passionately advocates for culture-building, championing a workplace environment rooted in accountability, empowerment, and solution-oriented leadership. Her influence is felt across departments, where she encourages transparency, trust, and a bias toward action. Alicia’s experience spans talent acquisition, marketing support, graphic design, event coordination, and organizational development, making her a trusted advisor and force multiplier within the executive team.

Outside of work, Alicia is a proud mom to two energetic boys, Theo and Will. She finds joy and balance through fitness, especially spin classes and strength training, and cherishes time spent with her family.

Dave Hank serves as Bonaventure’s Human Resources Administrator. He works with all employees on benefits, pay, and any other issues that come up. He is responsible for the company payroll.

Before joining Bonaventure, Dave worked at Robert Half as a Human Resources Liaison, where he assisted 14 offices in the Mid-Atlantic with all Human Resources functions, including monthly bonuses.

Outside of work, he is an avid road and gravel biker and tries to ski as much as possible.
